You need to rub down a stick ink to prepare sumi (liquid ink) yourself and then write Japanese letters with fude (writing brush).
It was an event that you could learn Japanese calligraphy and participate in its cool demonstration.
And it was also precious experience that all attendees including kids, adults, Japanese and non-Japanese enjoyed writing letters with the brush acting like calligrapher.
